Monitor Community Corrections

Loryx Systems understands the needs of community corrections agencies and with Monitor Community Corrections provides specific functionality to support alternatives to incarceration programs.

In addition to the supervision and case management functionality found in our Monitor Probation & Parole system, Monitor Community Corrections includes the following specific functions:

Classes

Monitor includes a “Classes” function that allows agencies to set up recurring and one-time classes of any type (AA, Anger Management, Group Sessions, etc.). Counselors or instructors can be assigned, schedules set, and attendance and performance tracked for each offender assigned to a class.

Community Service Work

Monitor includes the ability to record, assign, and track offenders required to perform community service assignments. Individuals can be given multiple assignments on multiple cases at multiple locations. Specially designed screens allow easy data entry of completed work assignments and Monitor keeps running totals of all work assigned, completed and due.

Day Reporting

In addition to supervision case functions Monitor supports Day Reporting Centers through a scheduling function that allows agencies to set a schedule for each offender accommodating classes, programs, and work obligations.

Diversion

Monitor supports diversion programs through its ability to record detailed personal and case information, track court and program conditions, manage referrals for services and participation in programs, and provide supervision management of clients.

Drug/Specialty Courts

Monitor is a collaborative solution, bringing together all members of a drug or specialty court (Mental Health, DUI, Family, etc.) team and allowing them to share data in real time. Examples of treatment court functionality found in Monitor include: real-time information access by all team members, treatment provider access, integration of clinical and counseling records and assessments, treatment case plans, track and phase management, sanctions and rewards, and program evaluation.

Specialized Caseloads

Monitor supports an unlimited number of caseload types, allowing agencies to track clients placed into various programs (e.g. Electronic Monitoring) or specialized caseloads (e.g. Domestic Violence, DUI, Intensive Supervision, Sexual Offenders). Built into all management screens and reporting a function is the ability to easily retrieve information for each of these caseloads.

Victim Services

Monitor includes the ability to provide a wide range of victim services. Detailed information can be collected for each victim. Protective Orders can be recorded in addition to information on violations. Restitution accounts can be established, funds collected from the offender, and checks disbursed. Victim assisted services, including counseling and service referrals, can be recorded.
