Loryx Systems provides professional services to ensure your effective use of the Monitor system.

Data Migration

Loryx Systems understands the importance to local jurisdictions of the need to migrate existing data from your old case management system to Monitor and has the expertise and experience to migrate your current records. We have performed data migrations from mainframes, AS/400s, and desktop systems from a variety of databases for almost all of our clients including extremely large record sets. Our business analyst will work with you to map your data to ensure it makes sense in your new system.

Data Integrations and Exchanges

Electronic data exchanges between Monitor and other criminal justice or court information systems are specifically included in the design of Monitor. Loryx Systems’ programmers have extensive experience working with state and local Information Services/Technology Departments to define and fulfill the necessary data/information flows between systems and have created interfaces to State Court Systems (Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania), State Juvenile Systems (Florida), as well as financial, court, sheriff, and drug testing systems.

Monitor accomplishes data exchanges by pulling and/or pushing data based on local requirements. Data is pulled from other systems and integrated into the Monitor database based on the business rules defined during system setup and installation. Similarly, data can be pushed to other systems in need of data entered into Monitor.

Data exchange is facilitated using web services, XML specifications, or direct authenticated calls to host databases with an industry standard ODBC database driver. Data exchanges can be batch or in real time. The specific technical approach taken to the data exchange will be based on the nature of the requested data and in consultation with local IT authorities and third party software representatives.

Reports and Forms

Every jurisdiction has specific forms and reports that they need to conduct daily business. Monitor includes a set of preset reports and Loryx Systems can create new reports with the included report writer SQL Server Reporting Services as well as Word template forms that will merge local data elements to meet local requirements.

Support

After a client goes live with Monitor Loryx Systems continues to work with the client providing support services to ensure the continued smooth operation of the system. Clients with an annual Support Services contract receive technical assistance as well as continued upgrades at no additional charge.
